We've Got Ears, Say Cheers

This is a birthday celebration with a Mickey Mouse theme.

The cake and the invitation.  The text on the invite was in Disney font.

Treats, favours, and decorations for the party.  Treats were hand dipped oreos, the favours were Mickey ears and chocolate cupcakes to take home.  The decor was simple with banners, balloons, and pom pons.

Camping & Fishing

Here is a cake we did for a first birthday celebration with a camping and fishing theme.

We used a combination of rock candy, ice cream cones, brown sugar, and more to achieve this look.

Did Someone Say Hockey?

Here is a cake we made for a 3 year old's hockey themed birthday party.

The hockey goals were made from red licorice and royal icing.

Celebrating Summer

This was a cake made for a summer party.

I iced it with a fresh whipped cream frosting and topped it with fresh sliced strawberries.

The kids loved it and so did the adults!

The cake is a recipe seen on The Martha Stewart Show, rainbow cake.

Two Brothers, Two Birthdays, One Cake

This party was for two brothers who's birthdays are only a day apart and each other.  Understandably, they each wanted a different super hero on their cake.  The original design had two tiers, one for each super hero.  At final count, the amount of guests did not warrant a two tiered cake.  That is a lot of cake!  After brainstorming, we came up with a common element between Spider Man and Batman, a metropolitain setting.

 The Spider-Man element.

He was scaling a building and shooting a web.

The Batman element.

Ducky Baby Shower

For this event, we did the favors.  Obviously a rubber ducky theme.  We requested an invitation to coordinate the favor tags.  These were the set of 4 - 2" - 5" cookie bags.  We did large and small ducks, onsies, and flowers.

Mirror Mirror Party

The party was at a movie theater.  The girls watched the movie, then had pizza and finally enjoyed the desert table from B Design.  The dessert table was located in a private party room.  The back drop was a mirror and blossom branches with apple decorations on them.

"Poison Apples" cupcakes

I found these on Pinterest and they became the inspiration for the Mirror Mirror party.  (Please check our Pinterest Board for original links).

This is an example of the custom favor bag for all of the party guests created by B Design.
